Manifestation in the month of Panguni (March-April). The Mother confers all kinds of riches, victuals, success in trade and eight* kinds of prosperity. (*Power, Children, Relatives, Gold, Gems, Grains, Vehicle and Servants).


Lord Vishnu is  omnipotent , omnipresent  and omniscient .He is adored in the sacred name of Varadaraja and He bestows the boons beseeched by us, the devotees.

SRI GARUDA (The Vehicle of Lord Maha Vishnu)

Garuda was born in the star Swathi in the month of Adi (July-August).
Garuda Deva is venerated on the Garuda Panchami Day. (Garuda panchami is celebrated on the 5th day of the waxing phase of the moon (Shukla paksha) in the month of Shravan (August-September). 

He is seated in exalted position wearing  the (eight) serpents Gulika and Adi Sesha as bracelets in the right wrist and the left wrist , Vasuki as the sacred thread, Dakshaka as the  waist cord, Karkodaka as  a necklace, Padma and Maha Padma as the pendants in the right and left ears and Sankhapala as a  tiara. (The names of eight serpents are in italics)

If Garuda is worshipped during Raghu Kalam (inauspicious period of a day) the maleficence caused by Raghu and Kethu, the shadow planets, and Naga Dosha (wrath of serpent god) would disappear and the devotees would live with all prosperity and plenty.

(Garuda  the king of birds , has a white face, a curved nose, red wings and a golden human body..He is also known as Garudalwar  and Periya Thiruvadi  in Tamil Vaishnavism.. Lord Krishna even carried the image of Garuda on His banner).

SRI LAKSHMI HAYAGREEVA (The Lord Vishnu, as the God of Higher Learning)

Avani (August- September) Thiruvonam (star sravanam) is the day of descent of the deity  Sri Lakshmi Hayagreeva  on the earth. Hayagreeva , the God of higher learning, is the source for the excellence in arts, memory in studies,  the best in wisdom and for an  oratory mind, intellectual performance, writing talent, erudition and for the whole gamut  of education. He recovered  the Vedas (from the demons) for Brahma.Those, who yearn for wisdom and auspicious life would worship Sri Lakshmi Hayagreeva.

(‘haya’- means horse and ‘greeva’ means neck in Sanskrit.  The deity is depicted with a face of a horse and body of a man)

ANJANEYA (Hanuman, the dedicated Devotee of Lord Rama)

Anjaneaya was born in the month of Margazhi (December- January) on a  Moola Nakshtra (the birth-star ) day.  By worshipping Him the malefic effects of Nava-grahas would vanish. Those, who suffer due to the malign inflence of Saturn for 7 ½  years, would get solace by performing archana to Anjaneya. On woshipping His idol covered  with butter, all our sorrows will melt away  like lard. Much benefits would materialize by adorning His idol with the garlands of vadas  and tulsi leaves.
